Bay Armchair Corten

Proportions were well studied for the compact Bay lounge chair: its seat was designed to comfortably embrace the seater. Light, harmonious, essential, small in size, characterised by a marking on the contours and the back of the backrest similar to the seam lines of a seamstress shape, reminiscent of the upholstering of a fabric armchair.

This Bay version is created in Corten, which brings together the aesthetic appeal of genuine rusted iron with the durability of a resin-engineered material. Tastefully designed, this armchair offers resistance from corrosion and tensile strength, allowing you to enjoy its beauty far into the future.

The Bay Armchair is also available in Standard colours and in a Moleskin finishing, Registered design.

Care Intructions

To remove dust and dirt from the surfaces of the product you will need to periodically clean with a damp cloth soaked in common detergent or soap and rinsed with water.
The products with a lacquered finish are more sensitive to scratches; for this reason use a polish cleaner, gently cleaning with a soft tissue.

Avoid the use of heavy chemicals. Avoid the use of ethanol or any liquid containing, even in small amounts, acetone, trichloroethylene and ammonia (solvents in general).

With this approach Serralunga follows a sustainable approach on production and stock management.

Corten is a unique material engineered with resin to present the natural aesthetic of genuine rusted iron. The concept of Corten emphasizes the organic essence of the material, while promising resistance to CORrosion and TENsile strength.

Its the materiality and the non-uniform chromatic appearance that allows for endless possibilities of combining it with other materials favorited by designers, giving it the perfect blend of eco-sustainability, lightness and elegance.

Serralunga's Commitment to Recycling and Sustainability.
