Description

The Porcino stool is a multipurpose object, as well as functioning as a seat it can also be used as a coffee table, or as a support / display surface. Porcino designed by Aldo Cibic for Serralunga, its name is a reference to the mushroom which inspired the design of the object. 

This version is created in Moleskin finishing, Registered design, adding charm and warmth to the final product, available in 6 colours and several sizes. 

Features

Material: Made from LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene). Hand treatment of the surface giving it a suede touch and look.

Production method: Rotational molding

Suitable for outdoor use and all-weather resistant.
UV protection, 100% recyclable material, solution dyed. High degree of mechanical strength and resistance to impacts. Resistant to temperatures, minus 35°C plus 80°C.

Care Intructions

To remove dust and dirt from the surfaces of the product it will be necessary to periodically clean with a damp cloth soaked in common detergent or soap and rinse it with water, while to remove scratches it will be sufficient to use the appropriate abrasive sponge supplied.

Avoid using heavy chemicals. Avoid using ethanol or any liquid containing, even in small quantities, acetone, trichlorethylene and ammonia (solvents in general).

Any imperfections are due to the craftsmanship of the workmanship and are therefore not considered defects but rather characteristics of this special finish.

Shipping information

Our products are produced on demand. The average production time is 10 business day for standard products and 15 business days for Moleskin products.

Once the products are ready, they are shipped either with standard boxes or on single or double pallet depending on the size.

Standard delivery time: 4-5 days depending on your location.

INTRODUCING

Aldo Cibic

Aldo Cibic was born in 1955 in Schio (Vicenza). In 1978 he moves to Milan to work with Ettore Sottsass and in 1980 they become partners. The same year, Cibic is one of the designers and founders of the Memphis Group together with Sottsass.
In 1989 he starts his own business “Cibic & Partners”, an International Architecture and Design Studio.
Simultaneously he start a research work on alternative project methods in design and architecture fields with his Studio and with the Schools among which: Domus Academy, Polytechnic University of Milan, Venice IUAV and Shanghai’s Tongji University of which he is Honorary Professor.
He is currently splitting his life between Vicenza, where his family lives, and Milan, where there’s the headquarter of Cibic & Partners.
